INSPIRATION
Last years mystery knit concentrated on living in the present and concentrating on what’s happening right now as opposed to worrying about the future.
This year, my objective was to seek more of that happy zen and I wanted to create a wrap that’s used more of my favorite elements - so Knit As You Are was born!
One of the things I wanted to change is the size of the shawl - this year’s knit is smaller than the previous few years ones - my focus was both fun, affordability (we have all been affected by inflation) and my impatience! The size of the shawls has been getting smaller lately and I am loving this trend! However, it’s not a small shawl by any means! It’s just small-ER than before. There is still plenty of fabric to cover your neck with.
YARN USAGE AND COLORS
Color A: 275 yards
Color B: 800 yards
IMPORTANT! Please note that Color A is the one you have less of and it’s dark in my sample and in all the kits offered by Miss Babs.
In terms of color, I would recommend high contrast between colors A and B – solids and tonals are preferred.
