This is a PDF knitting pattern
Bellini is a relaxed drop shoulder sweater that is worked top down using a 5 skein fingering weight fade kit (we ALL got tons of those back in the day!) with 2 fingering strands held together.
The melted effect is created when you drop the lightest yarn and join the next yarn instead, so no math needed to calculated striping fade sequences. This is a fresh updated take on ombre trend - where the stripes a a bit more defined.
Don’t have a faded kit sitting around? No worries - the sweater can be knit in any yarn that knits to gauge!
