This warm and light as a feather waterfall style cardigan is a perfect layering piece to transition into the Fall season.

YARN CHOICE
This design is made with fingering weight yarn alternated with lace silk/mohair. Solid silk/mohair is alternated with fingering weight yarn as 2 row stripes all throughout. This really ties the faded fingering weights as a cohesive ombre without having to calculate your striping transitions – when you are done with C1, you simply switch to C2 since the mohair striping keeps the color transitions smooth. This design is also a great medium for using your leftovers, if you weigh them and pre-plan. Or simply dive in your stash and find 4 coordinating fingering weight skeins. I chose to mix the fingering yards – singles and sock. If you are happy with your swatch, don’t be afraid to mix things up! Pattern contains instructions how to calculate the number of stripes for each C color.

YARN AMOUNTS
Fingering weight yarn approximately 400 yards per 100 gr in 4 gradient or faded colors, C1, C2, C3 and C4.
